Taylor Swift – We Are Never Ever Getting back Together

First shot of skyline at night to signify that it is night time. We could set the scene like this very easily.

Camera turns to Taylor (same shot) where she is sat at her windowsill in her pyjamas singing into the camera using hand gestures. We could easily do this as it’s an easy technique but also effective.

The video is done cleverly as it has been made to look as it is one shot by changing scenery through following the artist around. We could do this however I don’t think it would look effective unless we used similar settings but that could turn out being very expensive.

There is then a shot of two people on the phone which is made to look like a split screen just by having different lighting on either side of the wall. We could very easily do this if our lyrics matched.

  1. Is there a narrative here? Could you apply narrative theory?
