GROUP POST - Storyline explantion

These are our initial thoughts after meeting with Darren. In the video, Morgan will be shown as getting over a relationship gone bad. She does this by walking through the woods to burn dresses she wore when she was in the relationship. She's burning them to forget her past and put it behind her. The connotations of the burning dresses are also maturing, anger and relief at getting away, but maybe also sadness. She stands on photo-frames, to also portray anger and wanting to forget. We wanted to have close-up shots of her crying in a mirror, with makeup down her face, to show she is still tender about the break up, but is trying to put a brave face on. The mirror shot also makes it more personal between the star and audience. She also dusts herself off, when it suits the lyrics and smashes a CD player. At the end of the video, we wanted her to have a powder paint fight with her friends, to show she's over the relationship and is happy again. This comes after she pours powder paint all over her ex, to show anger yet she's over him.
